This isn't a great movie or good movie. But having said that I really enjoyed it. It hits the nostalgia hard and it is what it is. It's just a bloody gory movie for 2 hours and you don't have to think. Its worth watching if you like that stuff.
It was mostly too cringe-bad to be fun-bad for me, tho I’m not mad I watched it. Had a couple of very brief cool gory moments but they really should’ve committed to an all out brutal gore fest. No one would’ve cared if they skipped all attempts at a plot entirely. Give the people what they want!
Scorpion/SubZero at the start and end were easily the highlights
it was better than I thought it'd be but still overall p bad. The hat kill was easily the high point of the movie. Opening scene was good too
I actually thought the first hour in general was p enjoyable, then it went downhill quickly when it turned into some kind of...knockoff Avengers? The fights weren't even very good down the stretch, they were way more fun in the temple sequences
really didn't help that easily the two worst characters (Cole and Sonja) were the main focus
