Let's get to the nominations:
Jerri has chosen to nominate:
|
big shock? |
Jeremiah has chosen to nominate
The Power of Veto competition was EXTREMELY close between two players. 13 posts separated the winner from the loser.
Winning the Power of Veto is:
|
with 475 posts! Kamanda right behind with 462 posts.
Jerri has left instruction to nominate someone if Kim got off the block, so the replacement nominee is:
|
These are the final nominees unless an Idol is used to remove someone from the block. If you intend on using an idol, you must do so within 12 hours (so 9:30am EST tomorrow) or it won't count cause I won't extend the deadline for last minute nominee changes.
The votes for the nominees will be due at 9:30pm EST tomorrow night
There will be a new NON-Live challenge posted after the voting results as well.
Good luck to the nominees!

Oh....hi...
I don't mean to interrupt this amazing nomination and veto ceremony but.....
|
BOOM!
I have this lovely Dpov, and I want to give a shout out to Evel Dick and Yul, without you two dashing men this wouldn't have been possible.
For some reason, Erik keeps getting into this position, but for some reason people just don't learn that I don't let him go home.
Come and get this veto, you're safe this week.
So...There has been one person in this game that seem to not be able to click with me, and no one seems to want him out, he's had people give up all their candies, fall on their swords, and practically die for him to be in the game, he's also gotten several of my allies out. The free ride is over baby. My replacement nominee is Sorry boo nothing personal just business...And one more thing......
|
Veto ceremony adjourned. |

I'm just gonna keep this simple cause the diamond power of vetos and big brother rounds kind of have this strange loophole that by giving SOMEONE ELSE your idol, that person plying it safe from going up as replacement and then you can have like everyone immune and you have one nominee who is instant evict.
You cannot PASS your idol to another player during a BB round. Some of you may not like this, but it's a ruling I'm going to have in the future in this series to help avoid those "if A gives B an idol and B uses it and everyone else has veto or immunity then what happens" scenarios.
Amanda's idol was actually her own idol and not passed so it is a legitimate idol use. If another idol is used by 9:30, that idol must also come the original owner, it cannot be passed. If the original owner of the idol happens to be th final nominee (Heather in this instant) THEN it would become an auto evict scenario, but it can't be passed by another player to her to create such a scenario.

Fair enough! Idols in Big Brother rounds seemed OP and IMBA already with being able to choose the replacement, I guess passing it would bring it over the top.

Ok so it’s actually Eric’s funeral. The difference is that this isn’t some uber strategic move that will save me and carry me to the end like it did for Dan. I wish I could say it was but I’ve accepted there’s little hope for me at this point. Normally, I would go out very calmly, quietly, and respectfully because I have nothing but respect for the game and that can be shown by my exits from every single game I’ve been voted out of. But I feel like this is a bit of an exception because things got a bit personal this round with 2 people in particular and I feel I have a right to address this and defend myself. Before I get to that, I’ll address the rest individually.
Yul- Stop liking posts. You got blindsided 17 years ago. You’re fucking irrelevant dude.
Ronnie and Mike- Love you guys.
Jeremiah- I really like you man and I wish we could’ve been closer in this game because I really respect what you’ve done so far and I hope you can keep it up. Good game man.
Jerri- Good luck. I wish we had talked more and started working together earlier but I was fooled into thinking I could trust someone.
Heather- I like you a lot and I don’t think you deserve 1% of the shit you’re getting. You’re a lot smarter than people give you credit for and I really hope you show them all when you send their stupid asses to me at Ponderosa. Kill it girl <3.
Erik- You’re spineless man. No two ways about it. I had an opinion of you after you did what you did to Stephen and I was right all along. I really appreciate you stabbing me in the back after I promised you my vote when you were sitting next to my best friend in these games.
Kmanda- Please win this game. I’m so proud of all you’ve done here and how you’ve handled yourself. I wish we could’ve made it together but I really hope you win this game and finally show everyone what you’re capable of. ILY and I wish this could’ve been different.
Zmanda- First off, I just want to say that you have some great jury management skills with that posted attack on me. In case you’re too stupid to comprehend which is a real possibility, that was sarcasm. I really hope you know that until 10 minutes before the deadline, Heather and Jerri were voting for you last round and I almost voted for you too with them and was going to see if I could talk to Erik about it. I’m the reason your stupid ass is still here because I cared for Kim too much. How wrong I was. You should be where Sierra is and she should be in the game because she has a basic amount of respect for people. The way you carry yourself is a joke and I’m not sure which would be more satisfying, seeing you get blindsided by everyone you’ve bullied, threatened, and blackmailed into keeping you around because you’re too stupid and unaware to understand what goes on around you or seeing you get to the end just so I could have some fun with my jury speech. You’re an awful player, an awful person, and I really hope to never see you in a game again. You’re welcome for allowing you to even be in this game this round just so you could blindside me. I hope everyone wakes up because if you continue your walk to the end where you’ll win unanimously, I may have to quit ORGs.
Kim- You hurt me, I have to be honest. I had a pretty long paragraph written up where I was going to say a lot. But you messaged me this morning and explained why you did what you did. I appreciated that and I still do. Inevitably, you hurt me. But you had the respect for me as a person and as a friend to at least explain yourself and offer an apology for how you made me feel. And another thing helped me to accept it. While I don’t necessarily agree that you taking me out was best for your game, I 100% totally and completely respect something you got across in the message and that was that you didn’t want to play for anyone else. You didn’t waste 18 hours of your life, fight to get back in, sit next to Ronnie and I like a sitting duck for a while, etc. just to play for someone else. You are playing to win. I couldn’t respect that more. But it raises a few issues in my eyes. 1. It’s pretty hypocritical of you to have criticized me VERY harshly in the past for doing exactly what you’re doing in this game. I’m glad to see this transformation because this is just a game and I really hope you can see things from my perspective now that you’re in that position and understand where I’m coming from when I play that way. 2. If you’re going to play and make moves, please own them. What really hurt me more than anything was when you tried to come into the group chat and act like you had no idea it was happening when you were actively trying to ensure that it did and that all parties were on board. Own what you do. Mastermind a move and own it. Don’t try to hide it to preserve friendships because that just hurts the person more. The last one isn’t so much an issue as it is a challenge. You say you’re playing to win. You say you’re not playing for anyone else. Me going this round certainly goes in line with that but now I want you to prove that you truly mean that. You know as well as I do how close you are to Zmanda and you also know as well as I do that you can’t beat her in the end. If you go to the end with her, she wins because she’s dominated this game particularly in the postmerge even if she isn’t the brightest bulb. Mean what you say and play this game to win. Take her out before the end so that you can win and guarantee yourself that chance. Don’t play hard until 4 and then make the worst possible move. Otherwise you weren’t playing a strategic game for yourself to win at all. All you were doing was playing an emotional game and choosing one relationship that meant more to you than everyone else’s.
Ok I’m done. It really has been a fun experience. Abi, thanks for a great game. You never disappoint and thank you to everyone who made this a good, clean, fun game. I truly didn’t think I stood much of a chance on an all star season especially when I was gunned for during Round 1 so I’m very happy to have made jury. To those left, two ways you can earn my jury vote: 1. Blindside Zmanda in the most embarrassingly brutal way possible with the funniest, most crushing parchment ever. 2. Play hard, finish strong, be smart, own your game, and play to win. Without further ado, good game and good luck to all (except Zmanda) and remember to always Give Your Dreams a Chance.

So playing in what I think is my best interest makes me spineless? Are you serious? I'm not playing for you, I'm playing for myself.

In hindsight, I wrote that part last night after you first told me that you weren't voting with me. I do apologize for that even though I don't agree that it's best for you game. Good luck though and sorry again.
