Not much going on after that epic blindside last night. Talks have actually been at a minimum today and we're really only starting the challenge now. Kim, Ronnie, Heather, Jeremiah (to a degree), and I celebrated the blindside while Michelle and Sundra ignored everyone. I have to give Erik credit where credit is due because he was very classy in congratulating us on the move even though the other two were pouting. I've said a lot that Yul and I targeting each other would be dumb but that's only if neither of us target each other. He was being dumb and wouldn't listen to reason so I had no choice but to defend myself. I'm glad he's finally gone so I don't have that fear every round of this idiot finding some way to target me. It was the best move for all of us and really takes a dent out of that power alliance. But the core of it in Sierra, Zamanda, Michelle, and Heather is still here. Heather staying is good with me but the other three need to leave. Despite the solid play last round, I'm still very nervous for this round because I don't know if Jeremiah flipping is permanent. It will all depend on him this round but I'd love to take out Michelle. She's dead weight on our tribe and a number for the other side. We'll see what happens. Ideally, we win the challenge and I don't have to worry but if we lose there's many ways this can go. Also, I'll be posting the original copy (before it was beautified) of the alliance chart that I'm pretty sure Kim posted in her confessional just for myself so I always have a copy to reference. Her PS skills (like Kamanda's) very much impress me. Anyway, we're working on the challenge right now but I'm just doing what I can to participate because I suck at creative challenges. Hoping we can still win though.

This vote is pretty much coming down to two questions. Which side will Jeremiah vote with and does Michelle have another idol? Kim and I have both worked on Jeremiah as much as we can so I'm really just hoping for the best with him. I think he trusts us but I don't know if he sees us as threats if we have too much power. I've accounted for both as best I can by talking to Sundra and trying to push the target on a weaker player. Kim also pushed Erik to target Monica if he can. I'm hoping these two will push for a Monica vote so that if Michelle idols or if Jeremiah is with them, the vote will be for Monica and Kim and I are spared. This vote is very very nerve wracking and I think there's a good chance that I don't make it through but we'll have to see. I really hope I can make it because I don't have work tomorrow and I think I'll be able to slay this next challenge. I've talked as much as I can so all I can really do now is hope.

Did I just overcome a 5-3 majority and take out Nav and a Black Widow in back to back rounds?

This round of course began on the highest of notes with the epic idol blindside of Yul who has been gunning for me since Round 1. Kim and I successfully took him out and in theory flipped Jeremiah since he told us everything that was going down and threw his vote off so that we could pull off the move. His hesitation to just fully vote with us worried me a bit but he’s probably just trying to not burn half of the people in the game. We were looking good but I was still really nervous going into the round if we were to lose again because Jeremiah could easily just vote with them again and I could be gone. So the goal was to win the challenge but of course it’s a creative challenge and that’s easily my worst challenge. I’m not great with PS and I don’t really have a lot of creativity especially when it comes to something like song lyrics or party planning. Long story short my tribe didn’t even start the challenge until really late, Jeremiah and Sundra basically did the whole thing, and we lost pretty miserably. So we were going back to tribal.

So deciding the vote was pretty straightforward. Sundra was helpful in challenges and both her and Erik were talking with Kim a lot so she felt like she could pull info out of both if needed. Michelle is a lot more savvy of a player, is the reason Fabio went home since she was involved in the idol that Erik got, and is with Zamanda and Sierra. It was a no brainer. Kim and I let Monica know and it basically came down to two questions. Will Jeremiah vote with us and does Michelle have another idol? The first one Kim was very confident in the answer being yes. We’ve both talked a lot with him on a non game level so that was a good sign. Plus, he did indirectly vote with us last round. He came on briefly a few hours before the deadline because he was busy moving all day just to ask who to vote for. It made me a bit paranoid but I told him Michelle and knew all I could do was hope for the best with him. I had done all I could.

The other thing to deal with was the possibility of Michelle having an idol. Sundra and Michelle both ended up talking to me about the vote and I kept it vague at first by just saying that we need to keep the tribe strong and we should vote for someone who isn’t around much, trying to imply Monica so I at least wouldn’t be the target if Michelle had an idol (though if she didn’t trust me enough to play an idol, I’d probably be the target regardless). But Michelle ended up talking to me again about it and I realized I should just be blatant about it so I tell her Monica. Kim apparently was also asking Erik to push for Monica to be the target. If Jeremiah is with them or if Michelle idols, I’m sure she’d target me regardless but it’s still worth a shot. I voted Michelle and let it go, hoping for the best.

Results are revealed and it’s all good. Michelle went home 4-3 and I’m happy. Easy round. Very easy round. That’s what happens when you give an idol away when you’re not even in danger. There’s really not much else to say because it was an easy round but I will say I was really happy to take out a Black Widow and a crazy person who was loyal to them and always gunning for me in back to back rounds. I felt like I was really taking a dent out of the powers that be and that we finally had a majority. We finally came back from it all. The underdogs were winning. We had a good positive result no matter who lost next round. I was king of the world.
