Social Rules

1. This game is "One World" style. Cross-tribal communication is allowed and even encouraged. You are also free to change your vote as much as you want before the deadline.

2. Absolutely no "personal" attacks and what I mean by that is don't attack someone based on things in real life. You may personally attack how they "act" in the game or their strategy, but keep their real life out of it.

Challenge, Voting and Activity Rules

3. Don't like how the hosts or PWs judge a challenge or ruling? Too bad! You may argue your case and we might change if you have a good reason, but our rulings are final.

4. The vast majority of events of the game will be given a 24 hour time limit. This includes immunity challenges and voting. In some cases a 24 hour extension may be granted if multiple people are having problems doing a challenge on time, but always assume the 24 hour limit will be enforced.

Challenges may be Non-Live ( whenever you do it doesn't matter), or Semi-Live( Typically on-going throughout the whole 24 hour period) or have both a LIVE component and a NON-LIVE component which you can choose to participate in.

5. In the event of a tie, there will be a revote. If the revote is still a tie, the 2 players involved in the tie will go to a Tiebreaker Challenge.

I will very often post your challenges a few hours early so you may look at them, form a plan or ask questions. They will officially begin at a set time however, usually around 8 or 9 EST.

6. Inactivity won't be tolerated. In this series, confessionals and minimal challenge performance are MANDATORY( at a minimal level, you just cant do absolutely nothing). You must write a confessional at least once EVERY 2 rounds. Telling the hosts about what going on in the game on AIM does not count in place of a confessional. At minimum, confessionals must be 1-2 sentences. They can be as simple as "I am voting Joe out because he is an asshole". Doing the bare minimum just to avoid getting a strike though will be noticed and you won't receive all-stars placing with minimal confessionals, even if you win the game.

Challenge performance is mandatory in that you at least must do something, even if its very little. This is only for Tribal immunity challenges. Not participating at all in a challenge will give you a strike. If you intend to throw a challenge for a strategic reason or can't make it to a challenge that's fine, just let us know before hand.

You are not required to participate in individual immunity, since it only affects you and not everyone else, but we will take note of who plays in challenge when picking all-stars!

6b. Self-voting will count as a strike as well. Two self votes in a row is automatic removal.

Just like in baseball, 3 strikes and you are out. You may receive a strike for not writing confessionals, not playing in a challenge and not voting (without a bootlist). Strikes will disappear and you will go back to 0 strikes after 3 rounds.

7. Make a bootlist thread in your confessional to avoid self-voting. If you did not make a vote I will have you vote for the highest name on your bootlist.

8. Treemail will be posted usually 24 hours before the challenge to alert you whether it will be Non, Semi or Live and give you information to prepare. Sometimes your tribe may need to strategize before the challenge actually starts.

INACTIVITY

Once you have 3 strikes or have not logged into the board for 5 days, you are techically med-evac. However, if the game is currently on a Survivor round, I will not med-evac an inactive before the immunity results are up. The reason for this is by doing so, I am screwing over the tribe with an easy vote, and then someone else who was active also goes home, so that tribe loses 2 members. You get to hang onto your inactive player as a sort of Get Out of Jail free card in case you go to tribal council.

This policy is the opposite when there is an HoH round. If someone is inactive and its an HoH/BB round, I reserve the right to remove them, because nothing is more annoying/boring than spend 4 days and wasting your HoH win just to evict an inactive. If 2 or more players will be evicted, like a Fast Forward round, I may or may not do this however, but I reserve the right to.

Post Elimination Rules

Pre-jurors and Jurors may post some rants in the TC thread after they are voted out of the game, however you may not go and PM or IM everyone in the game saying So and So has an idol, So and So is a liar, these people have alliances with these people etc etc. Especially prohibited is telling players currently in the game who the Jury is favoring, since this strongly influences players and is not fair. Trying to influence the game from the Jury will get you banned from the jury! Please be mature and respect the players, the host and the game.

Additional Rules for SPECIAL PEOPLE (aka Jakkbott types), this has happened before in games so I feel the need to mention them:

NO IMPERSONATING OTHER PLAYERS. You may not make a screename pretending to be another person. Lying about what someone said is fair game, but you cannot actually pretend to be them.

If you spam the board with junk or porno, you are banned not just from the game, but from the series.

Do not give you your password out to ANYONE. If you give out your password and you get hacked, its your own fault, if your Bank account gets depleted, its your fault. Do not tell anyone your password.
