I'm not 100% convinced that temporarily ruining my life for the sake of that challenge was worth it, but I'm glad to be back with my squad nonetheless. I actually had a really bad feeling about this vote and was going to try and push the target onto Amanda Z because I thought I could guilt/flip Erik later, but by the time I got online this morning everything was kind of set in stone and there weren't enough people around to try and switch it up. I really wish I had tried harder now. I didn't even really know or have a connection with Fabio but he was a number for us and now Yul's ego has probably inflated even further which is gross. I think that actually might be the worst part of this, tbh. Yul getting his jollies out of a totally obvious idol play and thinking he's king shit. I'm sooooo sick of him already and I've only been back in the game for 24 hours.
I just noticed that the team reveal is up and I somehow got Sundra instead of Mike which might be okay. Sundra and I got along pretty well back on original Fuerza, but Yul picked her second when we were doing our draft thing, so I'm pretty sure she's aligned with him now. I'm almost thinking about co-ordinating with Ronnie to have our two tribes throw the challenge and just boot Heather or something, because I don't want Yul's team to be at TC with any combination of the other 3. They're the only team that has 4 people who will almost definitely vote together, and that's way too threatening.
... the challenge just went up and I can't ask Ronnie to throw, because we're going against each other. UGH. Mike and Eric both have idols so that's some kind of safety net but idk. I still think as long as Yul's team doesn't lose (and they shouldn't, since Amanda K won't even be around for the majority of the challenge), we should be able to work something out. Eric and I are trying to figure out who collaborated with Yul to get him the idol, so I'll update about that later.
Also, it just occurred to me that Yul has no reason to NOT have his team throw the challenge because he'll likely have 5 votes (his team + Sundra/Heather depending on who loses our matchup) no matter what. This is literally disgusting.
Here's how things are from my perspective at this point.
- Yul's team is throwing this challenge. Both he and Jeremiah flat out admitted it. This is logical and we predicted this would probably happen last night, but we were hoping Shont's team would throw harder (she claimed she would try to make it happen, but it looks like she didn't try at all).
- Our team was fucked from the get go because Sundra has hardly been around and Monica is presumably having a life. Ronnie said his team was going to throw at first, but then they wouldn't go along with it. This isn't ideal because...
- ... Sundra has a vote nullifier. It would be better if Ronnie's team went to TC with Yul's team solely because the nullifier would not be in play, and Heather seems open to working with Mike and possibly Eric, and she also claims to hate Yul. Sundra was Yul's second draft pick when we were making our teams, which suggests she's probably very close to him. The presence of Yul's double vote AND Sundra's nullifier at our TC makes it very easy for them to split between two of me, Eric and Monica. I'm assuming Mike and Ronnie are confident in other connections they have if they're willing to put us in danger. So what's the solution?
- I've been tuning Erik all fucking day to try and get him to like me enough to want to save me and figure something out. I also spent quite a bit of time talking with Amanda Z and made a kind of "watch each other's back" deal with her, but honestly, I just don't think I can trust her. It's a shame because I honestly would like to work with her, but I just don't feel like I can believe anything she says. Jeremiah also said he would tell me about what was going to happen at TC because he's "sick of Nav" and "asking him to throw the challenge was the last straw", and while I'd like to think I can rely on his word, I don't know if I can. Sundra flat out asked me about my alliance with Eric and co. and I admitted to it, but also added in that I didn't want to play like that and that I was open to anything (I said the same to pretty much everyone I talked to today. I hope it catches on). I'm hoping these connections will open some valuable lines of communication tomorrow.
- I also spent some time talking to Yul and lied through my teeth about not knowing if there was an idol over on our side or not. I don't think he honestly believed me, and he's almost certain Eric has an idol. He mentioned that Mike had screwed him a few times this game already, and he seems to be quite upset with him.
- I can't see them using both the doubler AND the nullifier. If they split the votes this TC using just one of those two, the only way we're all getting out of it is if we somehow flip one of them (I think Jeremiah is most likely, although if I can woo Erik enough he's also a possibility) and/or make Mike let us use his idol so that we can idol both targets, but that seems wasteful.
I'm planning on getting into a Skype call with Zach (Jeremiah) tomorrow and talking things through with him, so I'll update then. Hopefully he doesn't try to screw me lol
oh also I forgot to add that I found out from Zach last night that Amanda Z gave Erik the idol. Amanda then flat out told me this today (?? she was like so OTT open that it almost made me think I could trust her. Then again I was also OTT open with her but that's just me really. She just straight out asked me if I tried to push the vote onto her last round and I was like yeah and here's why and she seemed OK with it? lol but lbr she's probably writing rude confessionals about me rn) and Eric somehow pieced together that the idol was built from candies from the Irrelevant Black Widow alliance (see chart) and that Amanda used it without Heather's permission or something. #drama

I'm almost ready to make a F2 pact with someone, and by someone, I mean Erik and/or Amanda Z. I mean I already KIND OF have one with Mike but idk if it's a real thing so I'm going for a backup plan. One of those two would be perfect because it needs to be someone that no one would expect me to work with (the more unlikely the better). it also needs to happen ASAP so that information channels are opened up NOW. early F2 deals that go undetected are the fucking steroids of the ORG world, I swear to god.
I have no idea what's gonna happen tomorrow. Monica is legitimately trying to martyr herself for Eric and I which is super nice, but it's not ideal. At the moment our best bet is to try and flip Jeremiah, which I think might just work. For all I know he could be bullshitting me, but he's been talking about how sick he is of Yul and he said he's seriously considering flipping. Yul told me tonight that the vote will most likely be Monica, and Erik and Jeremiah told me the same thing. They said prior to that that there might be a split between Eric and Monica, and the fact that my name hasn't come up at all just makes me even more nervous. It's almost too convenient. I'm worried they're just throwing out decoys everywhere so that we don't see their real vote coming. I've been talking to Erik a LOT A LOT and I'd like to think that he wouldn't lie to me about the vote, but everyone in this game is sooo overly fucking shady that it would not surprise me at all

She did actually mention possibly quitting and asking if it would cancel tribal but yeah, I don't know. It was super nice of her to offer to leave in mine and Eric's stead since we're obviously way more invested, but the way I see it is by letting her go we just lose a number and give Yuk more power. I think in a future game sometime I'm just gonna make stupid moves repetitively to give Yuk ALL of the power and see if his head explodes. That'd be a nice way for him to get eliminated.
Sundra is apparently a free agent but the fact that Yuk picked her second in the draft chat suggests otherwise. She seems super sketched out about me being grouped with Eric & co. but she did tell me she had the nullifier thinking I didn't already know so I guess that's something. I get the impression that she's just trying to survive at the moment, but she could be super sneaky in reality
Jeremiah didn't want to like outright flip on Yul which I get, so we decided that he could instead fuck up their 3 - 3 split and switch to Eric to make it 4 - 2. Eric could then play the idol and Eric, Monica and I could vote for Yul, sending him home 3 - 2. This was a fucking STRUGGLE to organize because Monica was MIA until literally 5 minutes before deadline so he appeared and we all just started begging him to vote Yul and he seemed super reluctant and for some reason thought that he owed Yul something. He tried to get us to switch to Michelle but in the end he apparently voted for Yul. If everything goes as planned then Yul should leave this TC, but I'm equally prepared for it to be me because I just don't know who to trust at all. I would almost feel sorry for Yul, but he lied to me again like half an hour ago saying they weren't splitting the vote and expecting me to believe it. It's actually flat out insulting that he thinks I'm stupid enough to believe he would risk piling all of their votes on one person when he's openly suspicious of idols. Fuck that guy.
