My new tribe was best case scenario. I had 3 allies left coming into the swap and I ended up on a tribe with all 3 of them. Plus Fabio and Kamanda are tight with Monica so I felt like we had a strong 5. Had this been a Survivor round, it would've probably ended there even with Amanda on vacation. If we won, awesome, and if not we had an abundance of targets. But of course it's a BB round and it relies on total luck and relationships. And of course I get a shitty card and the two cards I would need to get 21 are in the hands of the guy gunning for me since Round 1 because he knows I can run circles around him in this game and the rat who turned on my closest allies last round because of stupidity and a total lack of logic. So I wasn't winning.

Mike claimed that Amanda Z had agreed to give him her ace so he could get blackjack which caught me a bit off guard at first but Mike has been playing both sides and I guess Yul trusts him that much. I don't like it that much but at least an ally who will probably keep me safe will be in power. I ended up talking to Yul because I just wanted a truce. Him going rn seems unlikely so I figure the least I can get out of him staying is my own safety. He had apparently already went to Mike about flushing the idol he thinks Fabio has (lol) and getting me out so I went to talk to him. I presented a very logical point that us gunning for each other is stupid. It puts us out in the open and if the one of us does end up going then the other one just lost a shield and becomes the very clear biggest target. Rn me being here means he can sort of hide behind a threat and I can hide behind him as well. Also if we're not gunning so hard for each other it also means our allies probably won't gun for the other and we can just keep things calm. Again, very logical points. I was never directly gunning for him and I don't want him coming after me anymore. He seemed to respond well but who knows. Logic doesn't work with morons, especially when they're stubborn, arrogant, and can't admit when they're wrong.

Mike agreed not to put up Amanda Z, Yul, or Erik in exchange for the ace which is already alarming because Yul said that Dolly and Erik as noms would be ideal. So Mike told him Dolly and Kamanda would probably go up. Alarm 2 goes off since Yul had told me that he wanted to keep Kamanda safe. Idk what to think but Mike is deadset on these noms, thinking it is the way to keep everyone the happiest. I just try my ass off for the veto literally all day because if I win and take Kamanda down, Mike either stabs his boy Fabio in the back or puts up Erik. And then Kamanda, Fabio, Monica, and I who have all said we want Erik out this round can vote him out. Mike gets no blood on his hands and a snake goes. Of course I knew none of this was realistic because Yul has WAYYYYYYYYYYYY too much time on his hands and does these puzzles in under 2 seconds. Fuck. So a backdoor is possible though I don't see how the benefits Mike. We'll see but I'm definitely nervous. Ideally the noms stay the same, Yul sticks to his word, and Dolly goes 6-0 but of course that would be too logical for Yul and the Moron Crew so I fully attempt them to go to Mike for a potential backdoor or even to force the tie against Kamanda. I just hope Mike doesn't fall for anything he says. We shall see.

This round began on the lowest possible level for me. I had just lost three extremely close friends and another was leaving for a week. All I had left were Fabio and Mike who I was still a bit wary of. The good news was that a tribe picked by Kamanda at least put me in a decent spot. I had arguably my only three allies and Monica who is close with a few of them and who I’ve talked to more so we’re on the same page. We had a majority and in our minority we had a paranoid snake obsessed with me being destroyed, the guy with a negative IQ, the inactive who shows up once a week to go off about Iggy Azaela, and the sociopath who lies for fun. This was going to be good. The only thing that could potentially fuck us over was a BB round which could give one of the minority power. So of course it’s a BB round because why not.

Now for the HoH challenge. It’s that one challenge every season that completely relies on social relationships and people liking you. And you see when “a paranoid snake obsessed with me being destroyed, the guy with a negative IQ, the inactive who shows up once a week to go off about Iggy Azaela, and the sociopath who lies for fun” are on your tribe, you don’t have a lot of people liking you. And of course I get the worst card too so I knew I was losing. But Mike who has been talking to Yul a lot was being given 21. It seems very unlike Yul to put his fate in the hands of someone else especially a guy and one who has been against him in the past. Yul of course made him agree to keeping Zamanda, himself, and Erik safe. He also “suggested” that Mike put up Fabio and myself so Fabio burns an idol that Yul think he has and I go. Mike said he would feel more comfortable putting up Dolly and Kamanda and Yul said “It’s fine. I know you don’t want to make a big move anyway” or something like that. What a back handed slap at Mike. But either way Mike thought that those noms would keep the most people happy. I’m not a fan of how Mike is playing this time. He’s trying to play both sides but he’s doing it very obviously because he’s too afraid of actually betraying someone and picking a side. The smart move this round was putting up Erik and Yul but of course we can’t do that. Though I don’t like to agree with Yul, he is right in that Mike is a bit afraid to make a move.

Either way, Mike wins and puts up Dolly and Kamanda so Dolly will go. I had talked to Yul about not gunning for each other, talking a lot about how it keeps a shield and someone who will be targeted. It can be a uniting force for your allies if I’m in the game so gunning for me is stupid. He responded well and said that this is a new game now but we all know it’s a load of BS. He talked about wanting to keep Kamanda and I safe and about Erik going up but then made Mike promise Erik was safe and was good with Kamanda going up. So I’m annoyed but whatever. Dolly’s not a threat and this really is a waste of a round. Though I saw a glimmer of hope. If I could win the veto, I could use it on Kamanda. Mike wouldn’t put up Fabio or Monica because that would be a huge backstab and he wouldn’t want to betray Yul or Zamanda so he would be forced to put up Erik. Then Kamanda, Monica, Fabio, and I who have all wanted Erik out this round as revenge for last round and because he is so dumb that he’s actually dangerous to other people could’ve voted him out. Mike could keep his hands clean and still looks good to Yul. But the veto is a stupid slider puzzle because all of the vetoes in this game are puzzles or flash games which I suck at. And Yul spends his days at “work” doing sliders to train for these days so of course he smokes the challenge.

Luckily he didn’t use the veto which means Dolly goes but it’s still annoying because this could’ve been a good round potentially if the veto wasn’t tailor-made for Yul. Another easy and boring BB round because everyone is too afraid to act during a BB round. They just want to keep the flow and “do what the house wants.” It’s really really annoying but whatever. Something needs to happen to shake this game up in a good way because right now it’s both boring and tragic. Give me a coup d’état, invite five people back from Los Muertos, give us a live double eviction, something to mix this game up and possibly give me some kind of advantage. But for now I must wait patiently until something happens that allows me to make a move on Yul or someone else who needs to go. It’s only a matter of time.
