I am about to attempt to pull off a move that will either change the entire landscape of the game or result in me getting tenth place.
So basically my group, the Queens of Mean, are riding easy so far this game. We took out JP two rounds ago, and we sent Stacey to Ponderosa last round. And with the way this game is going, it's veeeery likely the rest of that four will follow. Now my plan up till now would be to just ride out this pagonging until final six and just fight it out from there.
Here's the thing though. I woke up this morning, and before class today, I spent some time to myself just thinking. And not just basic thinking, but legit critical thinking of the situation. And my conclusion was this: my position in that six is not as set in stone as I thought. Cause here's the deal, I'm not the total social threat someone like Matty or Rudy is, nor am I as big a goat as Sue or Sekou. I think once that six is all that's left, there's a good chance I could get picked off by the likes of Matty/Rudy.
So here's what I'm thinking I'm gonna do. I want to talk with Caleb, butter him up a little bit, and ask if he's willing to pull a huge and flip to the other side and take out Matty. In my opinion Matty is the biggest social threat out here, and if he makes it FTC he'll win hands down. Why not take him out now while he feels comfortable.
Now I fully understand this is not a perfect move. If this backfires it spells pretty much instant doom to my game. But you know what? I made it tenth place this game, I usually don't even make it to the merge, so by my standards I've already done way better then usual, and that helps me feel like I can do more things. This move is a huge risk, but it's a risk I'm willing to take. And if it gets me eliminated in tenth, then so be it. At the very least it'll shake up the game a bit.
I'll be sure to keep you guys updated.

So yesterday I had the talk with Caleb. I basically explained to him my train of thought and how I would be looking to make a move soon. And much to my comfort, he hopped ALL OVER the idea! He was hoping someone who would be looking to make some magic happen and I'm his guy :). So we got our bond established well enough, he's basically the one person I got in this game right now who I can trust one hundred percent. This may fuck me over if he's just putting an air andd is really relaying all of what I told him to the others and is currently orchestrating my downfall for crossing the family. But like I said at the start, this move will either get me further along or get me tenth. It's a risk I'm willing to take.
Now Caleb doesn't want to make the move RIGHT AWAY. He wants to stick with the group for this vote and get Jonas out, so that the other side will have 3, and the Queen of Means will be down to three, because Caleb is pretty sure he can get Sekou in on this. Personally I don't have much problem doing this, Sekou is a good potential goat to have on my side, and I have no relationship with Jonas so taking him out oculd maybe make this whole process easier. Then you add in my immunity advantage and vote stealer (one of the best things I could have gotten tbh <3) and this whole process seems more clear. It's all a matter of being patient this round.
So that's where my head is at. All goes well, then Jonas goes this round, and next round, well, that's when the real fun happens. I wish the best of luck to myself. |
