So basically, I'm making a deal with the devil. The two people who sent home my #1 ally have reached out to me and John in order to make a power four alliance. Our goal this round is to break up Chelsea, Brett, and Matty, because at this rate, if we get rid of Ciera, then the three of them could very well end up as the final 3. It's a risky thing to do, but the argument that Franny and Ciera present is logically sound, and I have a gut feeling they are being legit with me. I really, really hope this works out. If not, I could be heading to the jury tonight. Cross your fingers!

So last round was really not a good round for me. I almost won the immunity challenge, but then made a fatal mistake on the redo. Then, during tribal council, the vote was a disorganized mess. Basically, Franny and Ciera came to me and John to create a group of four, and take out the more inactive/passive players (Matty/Chelsea/Brett). Franny showed me screenshots of Brett and Chelsea going to her a few days prior in order to target me. All of her logic added up. Theoretically, if we got to the final 5, Matty/Brett/Chelsea could have easily done away with John and me, as the two of us are big threats to win this game. John and I talked about it, and we decided that we would vote with Franny/Ciera. I personally wanted to target either Brett or Chelsea but Franny was ADAMANT about voting for Matty -- probably to get rid of someone who was close-ish to me and John, who we could flip back to. John and I refused to agree to this, and we tried to get Ciera to flip her vote to Brett. We knew that Chelsea and Brett were voting for Ciera, and Matty was voting for Chelse as a backup for any idols that might have popped up. However, we didn't know about the now-infamous rule #6 in the tc section of the rules. And all of our votes had been locked in incorrectly, resulting in a confusing three way tie. Sadly, the dynamic of the revote resulted in me and John having to vote off Matty. Brett refused to vote off Ciera, basically forcing our hands. I did NOT want to go to rocks, because the odds of me or John going home were too high. I did not dedicate the past month of my life to this game in order to be eliminated by random.org!!! So, Matty had to go. It breaks my heart a little. But then again, he seemed rather disconnected from the game recently. :(

Looking forward, we have two members of each original tribe. Each of these tribal pairs seems pretty tight. The other interesting thing is that all of us have betrayed one another in some way during the merge phase of the game. All of us have lied or been caught acting untrustworthily (is that a word?). Soooo, I don't know what's about to happen. I am trying to figure out a way to get John and myself to the end with maybe Chelsea as a goat. I really think that Fran needs to go next if she doesn't win immunity. She's got a great resume going right now, and I think we could be looking at the Mongolia winner if we don't act soon.

The powers that be clearly don't want me to succeed in this game LOL. Between the immunity mixup at final 7, the three way tie clusterfuck where I was forced to vote out Matty, Brett winning immunity after I try to blindside him, AND Chelsea getting randomly selected to go to exile, things are not going in my favor. THANKS RANDOM.ORG. LOVE YOU TOO. The current plan is to vote for Fran/Ciera/John/myself to vote for Chelsea and see what happens. I have a gut feeling that I will be getting votes from Brett and Chelsea. SO if one of them gets an idol at exile and plays it on Chelsea, I could very well be doomed. Meh. If I get 6th place, that's pretty good. I've never been 6th before in an ORG, so it would be a welcome new placement on my ORG repertoire. I'd prefer to advance to the final five of course! But I'm mentally preparing myself for the worst.

Brett is a sweet guy! ultimately, I don't see him as a threat.
