A message plays out on the comms device.

"I don't know if anybody will hear this. Comms are being blocked outwardly by the electromagnetic shell and there's no way to get anything out there..so this is probably just bounce around fruitlessly into space but I have to try.

I am aboard the Dalia. The rest of the crew are dead, or so I can only assume. I watched the creatures with those things in their mouths latch onto my friends and colleagues before sucking the very life out of them, leaving nothing but their clothes behind. The most horrendous part of this? They're linked to the entity. When they do this, it feeds him. And he grows. He stood and watched with glee as his pets ate my senior officer and the knowledge and essence of this person was passed into this monster's being.

Whatever happens, do not come here. I repeat, DO NOT come here. It is already too late to save us and introducing more people to this walking tomb will only ensure it gets bigger and more sustained. We simply can't let this thing grow any further. I'm worried that it'll only take a few more people to become an unstoppable force that could bring our very existence to cataclysm. If it reaches that point, it really can't be stopped.

This ship must be destroyed. I see no other way around it. A nuclear arsenal will take out the source for this thing to feed and sustain. It may still come at the colonies, but it seems to exist in multi-dimensions at the same time, so it's impossible to say. At the very least, we may never have to deal with it in the near future, but who even knows if it exists in a single time period. Maybe it will buy us the time to research a method to seal it away for good, just maybe. Apparently there is a research station on Earth left behind after the Inferno war that was designed to study its disappearance. And there's a mutli-dimensional place known only as "Sanctuary" that is protected from it.

The mission was joint funded by Europa Mission Control working in co-ordination with Ceres, and Kayla Interplanetary. Apparently they're at cross-purposes though. It's vital that you do not trust either side. They both want to use it for purposes that are incredibly dangerous and they just don't realise what this thing is capable of! Please take this to Earth, but avoid encountering the cult of True Light. They wanted this just as much as the others. True Light believe this creature is their messiah, and have been awaiting its return since it was foretold by the monks in the caverns around Sanctuary. They will disrupt any attempt to bring this creature down.

Remember that Kayla Interplanetary support this. Don't let them achieve their agenda. They want to use the beast for "Genesis" so they can make a super-human life-form that is a hybrid of humanity and this creature. If you encounter anybody who says they are working on behalf of Kayla, do not trust them. Do not trust anybody.

Meanwhile, Mission Control wish to open up the space around the colonies into a black hole to prevent access from PhoboDeima. They essentially want to suck all of the non-Jovian colonies into and through oblivion. When the black hole is created, the gravitational force will destroy that half of the solar system's colonial structure but they really cannot be certain it won't do more.

You cannot trust anybody. I repeat, you CANNOT TRUST ANYBODY. Your friends, your family, your colleagues and commanders. This thing is powerful. It will turn you against one another. It exists for playing games with the lives of mortals, not because it is sadistic but because it wants to deconstruct everything to find out how it works. When it learns, who know what will happen to the universe.

Destroy the ship, take this message to Earth and seek immediate help. It may already be too late, but I have to hope."
